Sofitel Melbourne is a non-smoking venue. This policy also applies to restaurants, shopping centres and many bars in Melbourne.
DISCLAIMER
The Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development including the Conference Organisers will not accept liability for the damages of any nature sustained by participants of their accompanying persons for loss or damage to their personal property as a result of The 2008 Melbourne international Venture Capital Conference or related events.

REGISTRATION FEES
The Early-bird registration fee is $850 (incl GST). This fee is valid until 30th November 2008.
The Standard registration fee is $950 (incl GST).
Registration includes:
* Admission into conference sessions
* 1 x ticket to the cocktail party including canapes and beverages
* Arrival Tea, Morning and Afternoon Tea, beverages, seated lunch with Presentation
* Conference bag with program
CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT POLICY
All registrations must be pre paid before the event. If you have not paid your conference fees you will not be allowed entry into the conference. Any delegate who registers and does not show up and has not paid will be liable for payment.
NB: Tickets can not be split between individuals. One registration ticket per person.
All cancellations must be received in writing to the conference managers. All cancellations received prior to the 16th January, 2009 receive a 50% refund less AUD $100.00 administration fee. No refund will be given after this date. However, your registration can be transferred to another member of your organisation. A substitution fee of AUD $100 applies after 16th January. All cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing to the conference organisers.
