Chip joined NEA in 1992 as an Associate, became a Partner in 1997, and a General Partner in 2004. Chip specializes in healthcare investments, primarily in the healthcare services and healthcare IT areas. He participated in the founding and incubation of Bravo Health. Current board memberships include Bariatric Partners, Bravo Health, Elance, Hospital Partners of America, Simplex Diabetic Supply, Ulthera and Vantage Oncology. His prior board memberships include, among others, CHG Healthcare Services, Atomz, Long Term Care Group, and ppoNEXT. Chip also works closely with Informative, and in the past worked closely with AMERIGROUP, AMISYS and Scandipharm. Chip received a BA (cum laude) from Harvard University.
