The 2009 Melbourne International Venture Capital Conference
Cross Border Venture Investment – changing times, changing strategies

Find out how the venture capital landscape is changing and boost your knowledge about venture capital, both locally and globally.

The 2009 Melbourne International Venture Capital Conference will focus on the challenges of investing in a global market, and the opportunities available both for exits and liquidity.  New models are now evolving and emerging with Australian Venture Capital firms being funded by overseas investors and co-investing with International VC’s.

Together with a group of international and Australian experts, explore the challenges of globalisation of cross border venture investment, and look at the role of venture capital now, and in the future.

This one day conference will be held on Monday 2 February 2009, at the Sofitel Melbourne in Victoria and will feature keynote presentations and panel sessions.

Newly secured international guest speakers include Graham O'Keeffe of Atlas Venture, Robert Chaplinsky of Bridgescale and Tony Jones (Conference MC) of ABC Lateline.

The early bird conference rate of $850 (incl GST) is valid until 30th November 2008.

After this date the standard registration rate of $950 (incl GST) applies.
